The seven-speed SMG Drivelogic allows for extremely fast gear changes without having to reduce speed, decrease engine power or use a clutch. The driver can choose between using paddles on the steering wheel or the shift lever on the central console. Maximum acceleration is made possible by Launch Control, which uses the optimum range of revs to shift through the gears automatically.
